Good morning, kids. Let’s praise the Lord. ❤️
Taking your children to church, going to Bible study, spending time in your secret place with God—it doesn’t mean every Sunday or every week is going to go perfectly.
Sometimes you’re tired.
Sometimes the kids are tired.
Sometimes Saturday was FULL, Sunday morning came too quickly, and getting everybody dressed and out the door feels like a ministry all by itself. 😂
And sometimes you simply won’t make it.
But as the old church women used to say:
Press your way. ❤️
Keep showing up.
Keep trying.
Keep putting yourself and your children in places where they can experience God and be surrounded by His people.
Scripture tells us not to forsake assembling together. There is something powerful about worshipping, learning, praying, and growing alongside other believers.
And raising children who love the Lord isn’t a one-Sunday-a-week assignment.
It happens in church.
It happens at home.
It happens when we pray together.
It happens in the conversations in the car.
It happens when they watch us turn to God when life gets difficult.
It happens little by little, day after day.
I’m not trying to give my children a perfect Sunday-morning experience.
I’m trying to help them build a relationship with God that they can eventually carry with them everywhere they go.
So even through the busy weeks, challenging mornings and Mama-is-tired-and-I-really-don’t-feel-like-moving Sundays 😂…
we keep showing up.
Not perfectly.
Not every opportunity.
But faithfully.
Because all those little moments accumulate.
And my prayer is that one day my children will look back and realize:
Mama wasn’t just taking us to church. She was teaching us how to love the Lord. ❤️

Keep going. Keep striving. Keep showing up.
