🌸 Biblical Femininity: Submission Isn’t What You Think!

Biblical teachings about femininity include the idea of a wife submitting to her husband. But submission isn’t necessarily what we’ve come to think of it as today.
In today’s culture, submission is often associated with weakness, silence, or not having a voice.
But is that really what the Bible teaches?
On the contrary, 1 Peter 3:1–7 offers a beautiful perspective on submission, influence, and inner beauty.
The passage speaks about how a woman’s character and conduct can influence her husband, and how true beauty goes far beyond outward appearance.
It’s about the beauty within. A gentle and quiet spirit, wisdom, respect, and the way we carry ourselves.
And ladies, gentleness does not mean weakness, and submission does not mean you have no voice! 💕
This week’s video begins a new series exploring biblical femininity and masculinity. We’ll talk more about the power of femininity, what Scripture teaches about masculinity, and how men and women can complement one another in relationships.
But today, we’re starting with the inner beauty of a woman and what God values about her character.
